Having the right fit is important. If you aren’t completely satisfied with one of our caregivers, we won’t send them back.

[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”New Caregiver Intros” open=”no”]

Introducing new caregivers is stressful for clients and families alike. We respect your right to be informed and approve of new caregivers in advance.

  • If a caregiver is going to be sent for the first time, we will always notify you or your contact in advance.

[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”Schedule Changes” open=”no”]

Our policy is to track your time change and caregiver preferences for each shift so that we can find fast solutions that fit within your preferences. This means that our first call to you about a service change is often our last call so we can minimize your stress and anxiety!

  • Sometimes changes occur with very little notice. If a short notice absence occurs and we are unable to reach you or your contact we will replace the caregiver according to your stated preferences. We will continue attempting to reach you or your contacts to confirm the changes.

[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”Travel Time” open=”no”]

Travelling to the home is part of the service provided and typically takes less than ten minutes. Visit start times may vary slightly due to traffic, weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • The caregiver or Care Manager will call to advise of known travel delays

[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”Cancellations” open=”no”]

Our cancellation and visit reduction policy is simple to remember and applies to all services.

  1. With 24 hours notice before visit start – There is no charge
  2. Less than 24 hours notice before visit start – There is a half charge

[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”Sleeping Visits” open=”no”]

During Live-in and Asleep Overnight visits caregivers expect to be woken up to 3 times during the night for brief periods. Usually they assist with toileting, reassurance and resettling.

  • If there is an additional cost because the caregiver is kept awake excessively throughout the night it will be pro-rated at the lower live-in rate.
  • Caregivers who do not get enough sleep are not safe for clients or themselves. If the live-in or overnight caregiver does not receive adequate rest for two nights they may be removed. Awake Overnight services will be offered until the sleeping has settled.
